Educational Computer Systems Incorporated (ECSI)
We are pleased to announce that as of October 1, 2006, the billing and payment processing for your student loan will be handled by Educational Computer Systems Incorporated (ECSI). ECSI is a billing service for the colleges, not a collection agency. We believe this change is a benefit to both borrowers and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
One of the many exciting features of the ECSI service is that borrowers will have the ability to access their accounts on the Internet by accessing ECSI’s website at http://www.ecsi.net . Through this site, you will be able to complete your exit interview, verify when payments have been received, update address and phone information, check on your account balance, obtain loan payoff amounts, or signup for electronic billing. You will be given a security code, which allows only you to access your account information. Another feature is that ECSI provides Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT/ACH) with multiple payment date choices and Credit Card payments for all borrowers.
Billings will continue to be due on the 1st of every month.
